Edgars has been working with litigation cases for 20 years. During this time, he has worked on an investment arbitration case against Republic of Latvia in which Republic of Latvian was ordered to pay the investor EUR 3.1 million for being forced out from the market in Latvia and on international arbitration case in which company entirely owned by the Republic of Latvia was ordered to pay EUR 1.6 million for breaching contractual obligations. In the meantime, Edgars has been dealing with many complex litigation cases at the state courts of the Republic of Latvia.
